In light of the continuous concern for the health and safety of our guests, we have had to
establish provisions for the safe re-entry and use of the 180 Club.
We have decided to implement social distancing within the club during meetings to curb the possible
spread of COVID-19.
Until further notice the maximum number of guests allowed in the club during meetings is limited to
maximum of twenty (20). This allows for 17 individuals in the main meeting room and an additional three (3)
individuals may be seated in the coffee room.
ALL INDIVIDUALS MUST WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES WITHIN THE CLUB. (covering nose and mouth)
-
As part of the safety measures, trusted servants are responsible for sanitizing
contact surfaces, such as tables and chairs, before and after each meeting. The
meeting Chair may conclude the meeting 5 to 10 minutes early to allow time for
the cleaning of contact surfaces.
- To reduce the
chances of spreading the COVID-19 virus, no food or drinks will be allowed to be
consumed in the club. We are temporarily suspending coffee and tea service.
- Please note that
markers have been placed on the floor in front of chairs and tables to endure
social distancing and the chairs and tables should not be moved.
- Chair, Co-Chair, and Secretaries are STRONGLY ADVISED to wear gloves so cash donations, and donation sheet
can be handle with minimal direct contact. Donation envelopes should be sealed with a moisten sponge and not your tongue.
- At
the close of the meeting, we will not hold hands for the prayers and urge that you
refrain from hugging and shaking hands.
- The General Service Office (GSO) of Alcoholics Anonymous has suggested that
groups implement a system of contact tracing, in the event someone attending
meetings at the club tests positive for the COVID-19 virus. The purpose of the
contact sheets is to notify meeting attendees. If you choose to, please sign the
contact tracing sheet with your name, phone number and/or email address.
These sheets will only be used in case we are notified that a meeting attendee
tested positive.
